The Street Store Project 2023

Care Protect Invest is helping Doxa Deo Church with their massive Street Store Project that will take place on 27 May 2023 at Gordon Secondary School.  Last year was a huge success when more than a thousand people received clothing and food.  This year promises to be another successful outreach.  CPI SA is proud to be a part of it and have donated a great amount of clothing and shoes towards this worthy cause.  Sorting of the masses of clothing has been done, and the next step is training before the big event.  We will provide feedback on this wonderful project after 27 May 2023.

Bags of Mercy Initiative

South Africa has one of the highest rates of violence against women (GBV). The Bags of Mercy Initiative mobilises women to become an invisible friend to an abused woman by gifting a handbag – old or new – filled with things that can make her rediscover her self-worth.

Abuse against women usually takes place behind closed doors:
Hard words where no-one else can hear.
Blows where no-one can see it.
