Care Protect Invest SA would like to support the Pearl Project, by helping them to collect non-perishable food for their food drive. The Brick-A-Meal drive entails swopping an eco-brick for a meal. The community in Croydon, which the Pearl Project supports, are encouraged to fill eco-bricks and get a food parcel / meal in return. This is a lovely gesture as they not only care for the environment by recycling plastic bottles into eco-bricks which can be used for building, but they also create a healthy environment where the community ‘pays’ for a food parcel by exchanging an eco-brick as ‘payment’, ensuring that people are filled with a sense of dignity and pride.
Please support this wonderful initiative by contacting their project leader, Amanda at 0795167616.
