Hard words where no-one else can hear, blows where no-one can see it, a non-existent self-image.
An invisible woman
In South Africa thousands of women live in the daily fear of the next lashing. They cannot flee, because they have nothing. The Bags of Mercy asks women to become an invisible friend for an invisible woman by gifting handbags – old or new – filled with anything that can make the life of an abused woman easier after escaping.

During Women’s Month CPI SAon behalf of singer Corlea and Mamilla Fashion – and in collaboration with Project Brave Heart invites women to take part in the Invisible Woman Competition to gather and distribute Bags of Mercy.

The competition closes on 31 October 2020.

Prizes to be won: 
  • Prizes worth R10 000;
  • A getaway weekend for two, worth R6 000, this includes a braai with side dishes sponsored by CPISA;
  • A gift pack worth R500;
  • Corlea CD’s;
  • A Style and Glamor analysis from Mamilla Fashions to the value of R2 500;
  • Milady’s Gift Card to the value of R500 and
  • Reading material worth R500.
